Scott named Public Safety Officer of the Year

Det. Cpl. Steve Scott (left) received the Commerce Lions Club Public Safety Officer of the Year award during the 99th Annual Commerce Chamber of Commerce Banquet on Feb. 21. Scott has been with the Commerce Police Department for four years and has been in law enforcement since 1981. Presenting the award is Dr. Wendell Bryant.
