Lions invited to inaugural Live United Bowl

A&M-Commerce to take on Harding

TEXARKANA — Texas A&M University-Commerce has been invited to play in the inaugural Live United Bowl in Texarkana, Ark. against the Great American Conference's Harding University (8-2).

The bowl, which is the third Division II bowl game in the nation, will begin at noon on Dec. 7 at Razorback Stadium. Proceeds from the event benefit the United Way of Texarkana.

The Lions finished at 7-4 under first-year head coach Colby Carthel after consecutive 1-9 seasons. They recorded major wins over Delta State and Tarleton State.
