A Texas A&M University-Commerce student reportedly punched two holes on the fifth floor of Whitley Hall, broke a chair and threw a phone against a wall after being asked multiple times to leave an apartment room.
Whitley Hall roommates Raquel Harlen and Cierra Carter had invited Donterio Harris into their apartment on April 7, but when Harris borrowed Carters phone and began making indecent remarks about her to a friend, the two roommates asked him to leave.
According to the police report, after being asked to leave the room, Harris followed behind Carter and used the door handle to punch a hole in the wall of the apartment as he left the room. Harlen said she decided to follow Harris, and saw him punch another hole in a wall and broke a chair inside the fifth floor lobby.
After repeated attempts to talk to him, Harris allegedly threw Carter’s phone against a wall and stormed out.
When the two roommates returned from speaking to a residant assistant, Harris reportedly came back to get his possessions from the room.
According to Harlen, she decided to record Harris as he allegedly became increasingly and agressively belligerent toward Carter.
Harris then left, and the roommates called the University Police Department to file a report.
