Looking for people to help boost Commerce athletics

COMMERCE — Commerce Athletic Booster Clup President Bill Mulcahy wants to see a crowd of people at Luigi’s on June 10 at 6:30 p.m.

The CABC will hold its 2013-14 board election night at Luigi’s, which is open to the public to vote on members.

“I want any and all people to come out,” he said. “Any wane interested in running. I want to ge as many people involved as I can.”

Mulcahy said food will not be provided by the CABC since it recently held its banquet last month.

The position of board president is up for election, and Mulcahy said he doesn’t mind, as long as the people do what is best for the school children.

“The bottom line is to get money for the kids,” he said. “I’m not afraid of someone running against me. They are more than welcome to join us.”
