City council to discuss three ordinance amendments

COMMERCE — The Commerce City Council will meet tonight to discuss three potential changes to city ordinances before going into executive session. The council will discuss/act on the following:

–Consideration of Ordinance on first reading amending the City of Commerce Traffic Control Map by placing No Parking signs along certain sections of Pecan Street, Ash Street and Sycamore Street.

–Consideration of Ordinance on first reading amending the City of Commerce Traffic Control Map by placing No Parking signs along certain sections of Stonewall Street and Bois d’Arc Street.

–Consideration of Ordinance on first reading amending the City of Commerce Traffic Control Map by reducing speed limits along Bonham Street.

After the regular session, which will include the monthly City Manager’s report, the council will adjourn to executive session to discuss the following:

–Consideration and possible action taken regarding Economic Development negotiations.

–Consideration and possible action on settlement counteroffer in City of Commerce and State of Texas v. Fountainbleau, et al., NO. 76,781, pending in the 196th District Court of Hunt County, Texas.

No action can be taken in executive session.
