Texas A&M University-Commerce is hosting its second annual Holiday Market at the Sam Rayburn Student Center on Nov. 17.
The event, which is put on by the A&M-Commerce Staff Council, will feature local and area vendors selling Christmas ornaments, crafts, handmade goods and more.
The Staff Council is one of the three on-campus representative groups, joining the Student Government Association and the Faculty Senate. The council itself is relatively new, only being created in 2015. A&M-Commerce was the last university in the A&M System to have a staff council.
More than 30 vendors participated last year.
This year’s Holiday Market is scheduled for Nov. 17 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the upstairs ballroom at the Sam Rayburn Student Center. The event is open to the general public and is free to attend.
