WOLFE CITY — Led by the 72 of sophomore Danny Jun, the Texas A&M University-Commerce men’s golf team was victorious in a triangular over Paris Junior College and Dallas Baptist on Wednesday at Webb Hill Country Club.

Jun shot a career-best 72 to lead the Lions, who shot a 296 for a three-stroke victory over Paris Junior College and six-stroke advantage over Dallas Baptist. Jason Timmis of Paris Junior College was the individual champion after posting a 70.

A&M-Commerce juniors Blake Worden and Eric Westerman tied for third along with Kenton Beal of Paris JC with a 73. For Westerman, it matches a season-low round for the Victoria, Texas native. Junior Pinkey Hartline and freshman Ryan Hickey tied for 15th after shooting 78s.
