  • A&M-Commerce volleyball team signs three players

    A&M-Commerce head volleyball coach Craig Case announced three additions to the Lion volleyball program. Kaitlyn Ingle, Lacie Jessup and Shantel Norton have signed letters of intent during the early signing period and will join the volleyball program next summer.

  • Lions improve to 8-0 with 96-78 victory over Southern Arkansas

    Texas A&M University-Commerce showed no effect of a nine-day layoff, scoring 17 of the first 19 points on the evening as the Lions routed Southern Arkansas 96-78 at the W.T. Watson Center.

  • A&M-Commerce women’s golf team announces four signees

    Texas A&M University-Commerce head golf coach Dr. Louie Bledsoe today announced the addition of four women’s golfers during the 2013 early signing period. Celeste Emeott, Katy Goen, Su Son and Emily White comprise the class which will begin competing for A&M-Commerce in the fall of 2014.

    A&M-Commerce landed a pair on the Daktronics South Central All-Region team as defender Vicky Back and forward Savannah Henderson were both named second team honorees, announced earlier this week.

  • Men’s basketball squad improves to 6-0 on season

    A&M-Commerce’s quest for a 6-0 start to the 2013-14 season seemed in serious jeopardy early in the second half as the Lions found themselves trailing Dallas Baptist by 13. But once again, another second half rally pushes A&M-Commerce to victory as the Lions outlast the Patriots 72-67 at the Field House.

    Eastern New Mexico (7-3, 5-1 in the LSC) continued their resurgent season by rushing for 276 total yards and holding the ball for more than 40 minutes, defeating Texas A&M University-Commerce (7-4, 2-4) 42-35.

    Texas A&M University-Commerce used a 10-0 run just before the under 16 media timeout to put distance between themselves and Oklahoma Panhandle State to start the season 2-0 and cruise to an 89-77 win.
