Funeral services for Kevin (Cowley) Moss will be held at First Baptist Church of Commerce on May 2 at 10:30 a.m. with Dr. Jeff Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Brigham Cemetery in Campbell.  

Visitation will be held at Peters Funeral Home in Greenville on Thursday, May 1, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Kevin (Cowley) Moss of Lakes Regional MHMR Center’s Ermine House passed away April 28, 2014, at Medical Center of Plano.   

He was the son of John R. and Betty Moss. Kevin was born Nov. 16, 1954, in Houston. He was a member of the Soaper’s Bowling team (founded by his mom), a Special Olympics athlete, and a member of First Baptist Church of Commerce.

He is survived by his sister, Monette Moss Douglas; nephews Devir Jackson Douglas, Denim John Douglas, and Dagin Joshua Douglas; a niece, DeLaci Jain Douglas; an uncle, Harold Coppedge and wife Mary;  cousin Kristi Coppedge Underwood and husband Kip, Kent Coppedge, Carrie Coppedge Marshall and husband Craig, Marc Forderhouse, and Marcy Forderhouse Dixon and husband Joe.  

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Betty Moss.                                                            In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hunt County Special Olympics, c/o Rick Cohn, 5707 Sayle Street, Greenville, TX 75402.
