Dan and Jalinna Jones Education ceremony

COMMERCE — The Hunt/Hopkins County AFrican American Leadership Conference, Commerce Ministerial Alliance and Kappa alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. (of Texas A&M University-Commerce) have announced the winners of the annual Dan and Jalinna Jones Education Awards.

The awards ceremony will take place on Feb. 23 at 2:30 p.m. in the Rayburn Student Center on the A&M-Commerce Campus, in Conference Room A.

A complete list of the individuals that will be honored is below. The individuals were selected for the awared because of their outstanding acadmeic performance, school involvement, excellence in educaiton, school attendance or leadership in education. Principals and teachers were selected by the sponsoring groups.

The keynote speaker will be Dr. Frank Ashley, retired vice chancellor for academic affairs of the Texas A&M University System.
