City to end limb pick up

COMMERCE — On March 16, 2014, the City of Commerce Public Works Department will end the special limb pick up due to broken limbs and trees caused by the December Ice Storm. We realize that there is still tree and limb debris in Section D (south side of Culver Street; east side of Park Street; south side of Maple Street) and we will pick that up according to the Clean Commerce Campaign schedule on March 26, 2014. In all other areas, any tree debris that is put out for pick up sooner than the weekend before the following schedule will be subject to City Ordinance.

Section A (north side of Live Oak; west side of Park Street): April 30, 2014

Section B (south side of Live Oak; north side of Culver Street; west side of Park Street): May 28, 2014

Section C (north side of Maple Street; east side of Park Street): June 25, 2014

City Sanitation will pick up limbs with the regular trash service if they are in four foot lengths and tied and bundled. Any questions or concerns can be addressed by calling 903-886-1152.
