The results of the most recent Mayoral election have been made official thanks to a resolution passed in a special meeting of the Commerce City Council on Tuesday.

The tallies from the May 4 election were canvassed Tuesday, with incumbent Mayor Wyman Williams declared the victor. Williams had garnered 187 votes to take the spot over challenger Glenn Davis, who received 128.

This will be Williams’ second term in office, first taking the position in 2016. He will carry another three-year term.
