Commerce High School graduated senior Dodge Brown helped push his home state to victory in Faith 7 Basketball Bowl held last weekend in Shawnee, Okla.

This was the 54th edition of the bowl, which is named for the Faith 7 spacecraft. Gordon Cooper, a Shawnee resident, was an astronaut on said craft. The game pits 10 All-Stars from Texas and Oklahoma against eachother.

Brown only had five points on one-of-nine shooting in Saturday’s game, but had a team-high four assists en route to a 102-95 victory for the Texas team. He also snagged six rebounds

Oklahoma still holds the all-time lead in the series 37-22. The game was hosted at the Noble Sports Complex at Oklahoma Baptist University.
