Thank you for the contributions to youth sports

The Commerce Journal

COMMERCE — To the editor:

The City of Commerce Parks and Recreation Department coordinates youth sports activities for boys and girls ages 4-18 in basketball, baseball, softball, t-ball and soccer. We realize the benefits that team sports have on our children and the lifetime impact that sports can provide. It is of the utmost importance to the Commerce City Council and the Parks Department that every child who wants to play can, regardless of the family’s ability to pay. It’s because of generous sponsors that we are able to do this.

We wish to thank the following businesses for their contribution:

Commerce Fix N Feed, Duncan Insurance Agency, Lone Star Eatery, Live Oak Professional Center, Lake Pointe Medical Center, Cypress Bank, Hunt Regional Healthcare, Alliance Bank, Guaranty Bond Bank, Churchill Apartments, O’Neal Carpentry, Magnusson Hotel, Hydro Aluminum, and Pizza Hut.

Thank you so much!!

Who knows? One of the children you helped could be the next Michael Jordan.
