Zombies spotted in Commerce

COMMERCE — Family Video turned into a haven for zombies last Friday as a promotion for the release of “Warm Bodies,” as well as a bake sale to support victims of the tornado in Moore, Okla.

Family Video employee Joann Wade, who is a fan of the movie, organized the zombie gathering to promote it’s release. The participating customers went all out.

“We had a father and son who came dressed up and actually walked around the store like zombies,” Wade said.

Zombie treats including cupcakes with gummy worms as garnish were sold at the bake sale to support the Family Video in Moore and help with the relief effort. Although the store was not damaged, the money will support the surrounding neighborhood. The event earned approximately $50.
