Athletics to make big announcement today

COMMERCE — Texas A&M University-Commerce Athletics will be holding a press conference on May 20 as a major announcement will be made regarding the future of Lion Athletics.

A&M-Commerce President Dr. Dan Jones and Athletic Director Ryan Ivey will make the announcement in the Alumni Center on the A&M-Commerce campus. The press conference is open to all media members as well as Lion fans and alumni and will also be streamed live free of charge at LionAthletics.com.

Media members and those wishing to attend the press conference are asked to arrive by 10:50. Questions should be directed to Rand Champion, A&M-Commerce Director of Athletic Media Relations, by either e-mail (Rand.Champion@tamuc.edu) or phone(903-886-5131).
