Commerce police arrest two Friday

COMMERCE — From CPD: Two persons were arrested following a warrant service of one of the subjects. 

On Friday, May 3, 2013 at about 12:30 p.m., Officers from the Commerce Police Department were serving a warrant for local charges on a Commerce resident in the 500 block of Harrison. Commerce resident Raymond Dafft was arrested outside the residence in a vehicle in the driveway.  At the time, Commerce resident, Andrea Nicole White was sitting in the passenger seat of the vehicle. Officers observed Ms. White concealing a glass pipe containing a methamphetamine substance. In the vehicle, officers also found prescription pills that were not in their respective containers. 

 

Both persons were transported to the Commerce Police Department for book in. Ms. White was booked in for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 under 1 Gram and Possession of Controlled Substance Penalty Group 3 under 28Grams. Mr. Dafft was arrested for the 4 capias pro fine warrants out of the Commerce Police Department and has been charged with Possession of Controlled Substance Penalty Group 3 under 28Grams.  Later the subjects were transported to The Hunt County Sheriffs Office. Ms. White is being held on a $5,000 bond for the Possession of Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 under 1 Gram and $3000 bond for the Possession of Controlled Substance Penalty Group 3 under 28 Grams.  Mr.Dafft was released on a payment plan for the Commerce Police Department warrants and is being held on a $3,000 bond for the Possession of Controlled Substance Penalty Group 3 under 28 Grams.
