Sarah Fletcher

COMMERCE — Sarah L. Fletcher, 71, of Commerce passed away Thursday, May 2, 2013, in Commerce.

She was born on April 26, 1942, to Willie M. Green and Willie K. Fletcher. She retired from  East Texas State University (Texas A&M University-Commerce) after 30 years of service.

Survivors include her daughters, Helen Renia Fletcher and Davida Mignon Neal (Kenneth) both of Commerce; her grandchildren, Gaylon L. Dukes, Ternandra S. Neal, Terrence Neal and Joshua A Neal all of Commerce; and, her niece, Chisa D. Savage.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Clara L. Fletcher.

Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m.Monday, May 6, in the Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home chapel.

Visitation was conducted two hours prior to  funeral services.

Interment followed at Rosemound Cemetery.
